How we keep this useful

Picked and checked by hand; updated when hours, venues, menus, or source pages change.

1. Bill Baggs lighthouse walk

The Bill Baggs walk is the signature island stroll: beach, trees, and the Cape Florida Lighthouse at the southern end of Key Biscayne. Go when you want the walk to feel unmistakably like the island.

2. Rickenbacker Causeway views

The Rickenbacker is the open-water view walk, a breezy corridor with Biscayne Bay on both sides and skyline views back toward Miami. Go early or late, and treat it as a route rather than a linger-and-play park.

3. Crandon Gardens

Crandon Gardens is the shaded, slower stroll, with garden paths that feel calmer than the beach side of the park. Go when you want green space without sand and crowds.

4. Biscayne Nature Center area

The Biscayne Nature Center area is the coastal-nature stroll, good for a walk that leans into dunes, shoreline ecology, and the quieter side of Crandon. Go when the route should feel educational and outdoorsy.

5. Village Green loop

Village Green is the short town-center loop, useful when you want an easy walk without driving to a beach or state park. Pair it with an errand, coffee, or a casual meal nearby.
